Below you will find all the different versions of the gauge, from initial release through every single update. This way you can always go back to an older version if an update doesn't suit your system or your personal taste. In every box you can read what have been changed from the previous version (the one just above it), similar to a change-log or revision-history. They are listed by date; YYYYMMDD.

The gauge is separated in 3 main types:

JET-version
PISTON-version
Helicopter-version // not available yet

JET-version
Date: 20100302

First release!

This file contains a panel.cfg file and 2 versions of the HUD-gauge (one running at 9 frames-per-second, and one running at unlimited frames-per-second). You can set which gauge to use inside the panel.cfg file (by default the unlimited-fps gauge is used, but depending on your graphics-card you may get better or worse performance using the 9-fps version).

A small cosmetic update:

  • Added a barometer-setting readout (QNH shown in both mb and inHg), and moved the wind-readout. They are placed together on the top-right to have the info in the same place when the tower-controller relays it on landing.
  • Damped the attitude-ladder and velocity-vector movements so they move more smoothly,   thus making them more stable (and generally more usable) when flying in turbulent conditions. The draw-back is that wind-shears will be somewhat harder to spot with them (use the AoA and G readouts for this instead, since they are both instantaneous)
